Medtronic is hiring a Finance Business Partner responsible for implementing business strategies, organizing performance measurement and managing risk, with an active role in driving market share gains, maximizing top and bottom-line opportunities, clinching efficiency in operations, in an area that embraces North West Europe, Greece & Israel.
You are a business partner and a key adviser reporting to a Senior Finance Manager for Western Europe Cranial Spine, with close working relationships with the Business Leadership Team in North Western Europe (United Kingdom and Ireland, Benelux and Nordics), Greece and Israel region.
**A Day in the Life**
- Perform economic research, analyze financial modeling, trends and studies such as rates of return, depreciation, working capital, cash flow, investments, and cost against budget for Cranial Spine North Western Europe, Greece and Israel region
- Commit to variance analysis, forecasting, financial planning and expense comparison throughout profit and loss, income statements
- Prepare reports, consolidate financial plans to provide the management with business and financial insights
- Establish operational specifications for financial information systems such as information flow, volume, ad hoc reporting, advanced analyses
- Monitor business performance by unit and countries
- Deliver analyses on business development
**Must Haves**
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, preferably finance or business-related
- 5 - 10 years of experience in financial planning, forecasting, reporting, Key Performance Indicators (KPI) analysis, revenue recognition, expense management
- Experience in business partnering, internal customer management and strategic thinking
- Solid stakeholder management skills, preferably with executives
- Analytical and problem-solving skills, self-motivated, organized
- Strategic thinking - see the big picture and think long-term
- Proactive and action oriented - show initiative and act with a sense of urgency
- Strong communication skills
**Nice to Haves**
- Capability to effectively articulate in both verbal and written communication
- Commercial finance experience
- Fluency in another European language
