We are looking for curious, collaborative, and driven risk management professionals who can work across the enterprise to help us build and mature our Global Enterprise Risk Management Framework alongside our business transformation.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a new, diverse team with an opportunity to shape the strategic direction of the enterprise-wide risk and control program.

**A**BOUT THE ROLE**

Primary responsibilities include, but not limited to:
**Establishing and evolving the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) function and TR **_Risk Lab_** - Execute and iterate on the Future of Risk Vision and design, implement, and execute Data-driven, Qualitative Risk Models for each component of the TR Risk Taxonomy, in addition to:

- Driving research and development in the domain of Risk Management, for TR’s internal and external benefit
- Maintaining the Top and Emerging Enterprise Risks on a continuous basis, in collaboration with appropriate owners
- Authoring and presenting Board and Enterprise Risk papers, advisory pieces on specific macro-trends
- Proposing, validating, and running annual enterprise stress testing scenarios and,
- Working collaboratively with the TR Business Segments and Functions to ensure a data-driven consistent and integrated approach is used for risk management.

**Designing and evolving the TR Global Risk Management Framework Components** - Build, enhance or expand Risk Identification, Risk Assessment, Risk Response, and Risk Monitoring mechanisms and sub-frameworks, integrate them to the relevant programs and processes across the global organization (e.g., Product Management, M&A, Business Development), and socialize concepts cross-functionally and geographically while using pragmatic and tactical methods to implementation
- Build and develop lean and powerful risk identification and assessment methodologies to ensure all risks are appropriately and consistently managed while maintaining the TR Enterprise Risk Profile
- Develop a standard and simplified risk scoring tool across enterprise risk identification and assessment mechanisms
- Embed risk monitoring cross-functionally by designing and enhancing KRIs in collaboration with Risk and Business partners
- Establish strong and consistent ERM risk reporting for value-based coverage

**Owning the ERM Integration, Initiatives and Activities** - Embed and Align TR’s Global Risk Management Framework and derived risk frameworks, models, and processes in an async, self-serve and automated manner, in compliance with applicable industry trends and anticipating any global regulatory requirements and guidelines (e.g., SEC, GDPR, EU)

**Co-Managing the Risk and Compliance Function’s Operations (**_RiskOps_**)** - In addition to being the Business Owner of Enterprise Risk Platforms (i.e., MetricStream), drive the Risk Governance Function day-to-day activities and the portfolio/program management of annual initiatives such as the Global Policy Hub, Risk and Compliance policies, standards, procedures and supporting documentation, and enterprise-level activities focusing on the advancement of risk accountability and culture

**Designing, Building and Implementing the Risk Technology Roadmap** **(TR **_RiskTech_**)** - Conduct research, consultations, and validations, internally and externally, to establish a TR _RiskTech_ Roadmap that leverages mature and emerging technologies (e.g., Machine Learning, RPA, AI, Blockchain) to drive scalable and innovative proofs of concept to automate and streamline risk assurance activities (e.g., RCSA sampling, Policy Attestations, Sox testing)

You’re a fit for the role of **Director, Enterprise Risk Management (**_TR RiskLab_**)** if you have:

- 10+ years of relevant experience in risk management, consulting and/or advisory and 5+ years in a leadership role driving progressive and global-scale risk management frameworks and/or operations
- Experience in a similar capacity within the Tech industry is an asset
- All relevant combinations of experience and knowledge will be considered
- Proven track record of designing and implementing global, enterprise-level, and sustainable enterprise risk management frameworks - in conjunction with business stakeholders - in an iterative and evolutive manner and aligned with latest macro-trends (e.g., Trust, ESG)
- Strong understanding and interest in risk management, compliance, sustainability and governance concepts, challenges and opportunities, and ability to build working expertise on latest macro-trends that impact Thomson Reuters
- Expert-knowledge of Risk Universe and Ecosys
