The Athlete Engagemnet Intern will support the delivery of engagement with Olympians and athletes’ entourage members at the Olympic Games Paris 2024, support the delivery of pre-Games engagement with elite athletes, Olympians and athletes’ entourage members at selected events and assist in the implementation of Olympic Agenda 2020+5 and the IOC Athlete Engagement Framework.

**Main responsibilities**
- Support the delivery of engagement with Olympians and athletes’ entourage members at the Olympic Games Paris 2024.
- Support the planning and delivery of the various engagement campaigns and activations in the Olympic Villages.
- Coordinate with the respective IOC departments to ensure a centralised approach for all athlete engagement activities during Paris 2024.
- Coordinate the relationship with the agencies involved and liaise with the various stakeholders for the local implementation.
- Deliver the information pocket guide featuring all essential Games-time information provided to each athlete during the Olympic Games.
- Support the planning of the Samsung mobile phone programme.
- Support the preparation of the on-site operations of the athlete engagement team at Paris 2024.
- Deliver clear communication and an information pack to the athlete engagement team.
- Work with Paris 2024 to plan for the volunteers required and organise the onboarding and information pack.
- Support the delivery of digital engagement with athletes and athletes’ entourage members in the lead-up to and during the Olympic Games including PinQuest.
- Support the delivery of pre-Olympic Games engagement with Olympians, elite athletes and athletes’ entourage members at selected qualifying events.
- Assist in the planning, coordination and logístical arrangements of pre-Games in-person engagement at selected events.
- Coordinate the relationship with the agencies involved and liaise with the various stakeholders for the local implementation.
- Support the delivery of the athletes’ digital engagement tool (PinQuest).
- Support the preparation of the on-site operations.
- Deliver clear communication and an information pack to the athlete engagement team.
- Support the planning and delivery of digital engagement for these events.
- Support the implementation of Olympic Agenda 2020+5 and the IOC Athlete Engagement Framework
- Support the delivery of Olympic Agenda 2020+5, particularly recommendation 3.
- Support the implementation of the IOC Athlete Engagement Framework in line with Olympic Agenda 2020+5 and the IOC Athletes’ Commission Strategy.

- Assist in the delivery of special projects as delegated by the Head of the Unit.
- Perform everyday administrative tasks: preparing various reports and presentations, correspondence, expense forms and documents, filing, ordering supplies, etc.

**Our requirement**
- Further education (master’s, bachelor’s degree, federal diploma, etc.) or equivalent professional experience.
- English or French mother tongue, with good knowledge of the other language. Additional languages would be an asset.
- Excellent command of Microsoft software and corporate tools, and compliance with the internal usage rules.
- Planning and organisational skills with strong experience in project management.
- Being an Olympian or a former elite athlete would be an advantage.
- Ability to establish a realistic, clear and efficient line of action to reach individual or shared objectives.
- Ability to produce high-quality, high-quantity results by adopting a pragmatic, efficient approach.
- Ability to find agreement through mutual concessions when faced with the diverging interests of several people.
- Ability to consider interpersonal differences as an added value and to interact constructively with all types of people.
