**Your role**
- Are you an experienced leader with a broad range of skills in the Cyber Security? Are you an expert in the particulars of cloud and container security?
- We are looking for a Head of Cloud Security to:
- provide expert advice and guidance on a modern approach for the bank to adopt public cloud securely
- oversee the design, delivery, and operation of the technology platforms that provide security control capability for cloud and containers
- provide insights into industry developments, new products or services, or research released to cloud security
- develop strong partnerships with internal stakeholders to advance the program agenda and related enterprise goals in support of the CISO’s strategic plans
- drive strategic development, planning and execution of key program objectives

**Your team**
- You will lead the Cloud Security team within the Cyber Technology & Architecture organization, which aligns to the bank’s global CISO organization. You will be reporting into the Head of Cyber Technology & Architecture, with an accountability for organizational management, strategy, and delivery within the Cloud Security function.

**Your expertise**
- 10+ years of experience in senior global technology roles, most of which will have been spent in the field of Cybersecurity or Technology Risk. Financial Services experience is a plus.

Expert level knowledge of:

- public cloud concepts and security controls across IaaS, PaaS, as SaaS models
- containers, container orchestration systems, and methods for securing containerized workloads
- Common attack surfaces in public cloud and how to reduce and/or defend them
- working knowledge of CI/CD principles and how security controls can be applied to centralized pipelines.
- experience working closely with both infrastructure teams and development teams
- comfortable working with and presenting to senior partners and stakeholders
- proven background in delivering change in compressed timeframes
- strong strategic thought leadership and problem-solving
- track record of success in collaborating with, partnering with, and influencing senior technologists and leaders within the organization
- proven ability to proactively solve problems and develop strategic recommendations with objective rationale
- ability to leverage data to make effective business decisions
- self-starter able to execute independently, on a deadline, and under pressure
- confident decision maker who can execute on objectives even when faced with ambiguity or uncertainty; able to convert information into quantifiable concepts
