Our R&D team located at the company headquarters in Cham, Switzerland, is looking for a new teammate who will join us as** Security Architect**.
As such, you will take the technology and architecture ownership for the security of our devices and solutions within the Business Unit Electricity.
**Your main activities**:
- Actively support and drive definition and implementation of relevant industry standards in the security domain
- Support Product Management, Operations, R&D and Customer Projects in the development and implementation of best-in-class security in devices and solutions
- Improve process efficiency and enable the organization to quickly respond to changing market needs
- Ensure and continuously improve solution end-to-end security quality and cost
- Create and maintain detailed and comprehensive security architectural and functional specifications on different system levels, including manufacturing and embedded device areas
- Effectively manage breakdown of market and industry high level requirements to subsystem level technical specifications
- Define, support and/or perform Product Security Risk Assessments, penetration testing and vulnerability assessments
- Act as interface and technical specifications translator between Product Management and R&D teams
**Your education & experience**:
- University degree or equivalent in IT or Electrical Engineering
- Proven security domain knowledge with demonstrable track record and in-depth technical knowledge, including embedded devices, supply chain and IT domains
- Several years of work experience in an R&D role within the electronic/mechatronic/IT-industry
- Familiarity and in-depth understanding of development processes and their continuous improvement
- Extensive experience in solution security for energy, electric utilities, telecom or other similar industries running critical infrastructure systems
- In-depth knowledge of end-to-end security technologies, certification frameworks, standards and implementations

- You are able to communicate and co-operate with numerous stakeholders, and to explain complex topics to a less cyber security technically skilled audience
- You are a self-starter, highly flexible, able to work under pressure and team-oriented personality
- You are able and want to learn new things, with high focus on the digital age
- You work fluently in English
- It would be perfect if you were also fluent in German, and any other additional language would be a plus
