**Teamlead Quality Assurance Formulations (m-f-d)**

**What you’ll do**

In the SQF Team lead accountability she is the first contact person for department heads with regard to quality related matters, if the issue is related to one single department.

A QA-Manager bears the responsibility for a product group or a number of special quality tasks. The release of products in delegation of the FvP and in the function as Food/Feed Safety Team Lead in compliance with country authorities / legal requirements.

There are intensive contacts with QC managers, plant managers, production support, product managers, technology managers, regulatory affairs, launch teams and customers.

**Key areas of responsibility**

**SHE-requirements**:

- Management of the process in full conformity with the DSM SHE requirements.
- Is exemplary with his or her own SHE-behavior and ensures the adherence of his/her employees.
- Intervene if watching unsafe acts or conditions.

**Q-Requirements**:

- To take responsibility for release or NOT-release of raw materials and endproducts
- To approve and release quality related documents such as specifications, manufacturing instructions and validation documents
- To execute Batch Record Reviews and audits
- To execute Products Quality Reviews
- To clarify and investigate complaints, deviations, changes, Compendial Compliance
- To collaborate with all parts of the Supply-Chain Process especially in quality-related issues
- To assure the performance of the essential stability tests
- To set up site specific procedures and rules for the quality management system in compliance with legal, customer and DSM-internal requirements
- To audit suppliers and service provider as a senior GMP auditor and execute internal audits

**Interfaces**:

- First contact person in the area of responsibility for department heads, in case the matter is related to one single department at the DSM Sisseln site.
- Communication with and information of headquarter functions in the area of responsibility
- Personnel management (employment, job grading, salary, promotion, admonishment) in consideration of the management principles after consultation with the line management.

**Resources**:

- Resource planning to obtain the operative capacity to act (number of employees, training, exchange).
- Personnel management, development and manpower planning (appraisal interview, coaching, holidays and other absences).
- Goal-oriented leadership and motivation for the SQF-Team.

**You bring**
- Academic background, preferably PhD / master or equivalent education in chemistry, biology or engineering
- Three to five years experience as plant manager or laboratory head or similar
- Knowledge of chemical production processes and equipments
- Knowledge of analytical techniques
- Experience in a firm with ISO certification
- Expert knowledge in quality management and pharmaceutical GMP requirements
- Advanced Leadership skills including
- Good communication and social skills/ability to work effectively in a team & Presentation skills
- Reliability / autonomous working skills
- Convincing leadership style to foster quality thinking on the site / BG
- Analytical and management skills to solve quality issues
- Good command of local language and English
