**About the role**

Our CISO team’s mission is to be in the vanguard of digital banking security, fostering a safe and prosperous financial future for our stakeholders while setting pioneering new industry standards for security and trust in the digital age.
- Opportunity to own and shape security standards for our integrated currency and digital asset banking platforms at the frontier of digital asset banking
- Leadership in defining, implementing, and monitoring security governance frameworks for digital asset custody, trading, and banking
- Development of security patterns bridging traditional banking and blockchain
- Strategic input into our multi-custody and key management architecture
- Chance to establish industry-leading security practices in an emerging sector
- Serve as a key liaison and coordinator between the CISO team and cross-functional teams, including engineering, SRE, IT operations, and security operations
- Drive the effective implementation and operationalization of security strategies and standards across the organization
- Masters degree in Information Technology or equivalent
- 8+ years of IT experience with at least 5 years in security architecture roles or equivalent
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills in English
- Strong ability to collaborate with and influence diverse teams, serving as a bridge between technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Track record of leading cross-functional initiatives and driving alignment across teams
- Proven expertise covering at least 75% of:
- Cloud security architecture and controls (Azure, AWS)
- Identity and Access Management (IAM) architecture and Zero Trust
- Secure Software Development Lifecycle (SSDLC) frameworks
- Developing security standards in regulated environments
- Security architecture reviews for critical business systems
- Financial regulations (e.g. FINMA) and banking security requirements
- Encryption architecture and key management systems
- Application, infrastructure and networking security best practices
- API security standards and gateway architecture
- Kubernetes and microservices security patterns

Nice to Have:

- Team leadership, management and consulting experience
- Hardware Security Module (HSM) architecture
- Understanding of DLT security patterns and blockchain-specific threats
- Digital asset custody and trading platform security
- Blockchain security patterns and smart contract security
- German language proficiency
