Head Butler / House Manager - Switzerland (German-speaking part of Switzerland)

Duties of House Manager, Butler, Valet

The role is to manage the household of a family of four.

The current household staff consist of two Housekeeper, two nannies and one private Chef in Switzerland and one Housekeeper in the UK.

The household is not formal, but when the family is entertaining, formal service is required.

Responsibilities include but are limited to
- Manage the household staff, including rota, recruitment, training, and staff development. Including managing the household staff at the second property in the UK
- The day-to-day running of the household
- General private Assistant/Home PA duties such as booking restaurants and flights / coordinating transport for the family.
- Dealing with all German communication related to the household (bill payments, contractors, suppliers’ contracts)
- General Valet duties
- Some travel at times will be required

Essential requirements:

- Fluent in German
- Stable background
- Butler training
- Flexible/easy-going type
- Private Household experience (not hotel)
- Must be eligible to work in Switzerland (EU citizen)
