Database Architect

We are seeking a Database Architect, for a company that owns the only 3D technology platform that allows industrial for mass production.

Main tasks:

- Enable the effective use of the generated machine data in the areas of process control, quality certificates, and digital services.
- Analyse the requirements for the database structures and solutions for our 3D screen printing systems.
- Database architectures: Design and implementation of database architectures that enable efficient management and processing of the generated data.
- Integration: Integration of actuators and sensors or machine controls into the database solutions to ensure seamless data transfer and processing.
- Development of interfaces and APIs to connect the databases to external systems and services.
- Data security: Ensure data integrity, security, and availability in close collaboration with our IT security team.
- Optimization: Continuous optimization and further development of the database solutions to meet the increasing requirements.
- App development for the preparation of the production process (tool creation, pre-definition of all machines settings).

**Requirements**:

- Degree in computer science, business informatics, or a comparable qualification.
- Professional experience as a database architect or in a similar position.
- Database architectures: Knowledge in the development, implementation of database architectures and solutions.
- Experience with common database technologies such as SQL, NoSQL, MongoDB, etc.
- Knowledge of the integration of actuators and sensors into database solutions is an advantage.
- Good programming skills in at least one common programming language (e.g., Python, Java, C++).
