To support our Private Equity team in Zurich, we are looking for a motivated professional for the following position:
**Investment Research Manager Private Equity**

**Key activities**
- Identify, develop and formulate research on global private equity markets, industry trends, macro dynamics
- Produce high quality, actionable, private equity thought leadership research and analytical content, primarily in English
- Develop insights to support the views held on investment themes/strategies and communicate it internally and externally
- Undertake data-driven analysis supported by both in-house and external data sources
- Partner with investment teams to leverage intellectual capital across industries/sectors and private equity strategies
- Build on insights from other business divisions at Schroders including capital market teams, industry/sector coverage teams, and economy/macro teams
- Complete ad-hoc queries and research projects on specific topics
- Manage and maintain investment databases and other resources to ensure that research information is up-to-date and readily accessible
- Provide regular reports and updates on investment research findings

**Required profile**
- Bachelor or Master in economics, finance etc.
- At least 5 years of experience in asset management / private equity
- Experience undertaking qualitative and/or quantitative research
- In-depth understanding of private equity markets, complemented by a broad understanding of financial markets and underlying economic, social and political drivers
- Proven thought-leadership, strategic foresight and innovative mind-set
- Strong collaboration and influencing skills and experience with and comfort engaging with senior leaders
- Demonstrated excellence with verbal and written communication skills; experience drafting written reports or commentary
- Excellent presentation skills
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- A collaborative attitude and positive approach to teamwork
