Accounting & Reporting Manager

We are looking for a team player with strong reporting skills to enhance our Finance team in Thalwil. This position is reporting directly to the Global Head of Finance and Controlling. In this role you will be the driving force behind our semi-annual reporting to the attention of the stock exchange (SIX) and behind our internal reporting. You will work closely with the Group Consolidation Team, the Finance teams around the world as well as the Group Controlling Team.

- Main responsible for internal and external financial reporting according to IFRS
- Management of the global financial closing process (accounting policies, instructions)
- Technical leadership and training of all local Finance teams
- Management and improvement of the Group’s internal control system
- Management of external partners (auditors, actuarial expert, tax advisors)
- Leadership of projects within the finance department
- Integration of newly acquired subsidiaries into the finance organization of u-blox Group

**Your Skills and Experience**
- Master in Accounting or similar education (e.g. eidg. dipl. Wirtschaftsprüfer / CPA)
- Strong financial accounting background, min. 5 years of experience; audit background is an asset
- Strong IFRS and external reporting knowledge
- Accounting and consolidation experience in an international company, preferably in an industrial, engineering or IT environment is an asset
- Experience with consolidation tools (e.g. Tagetik) is an asset
- Accurate, efficient, independent, and solution-oriented way of working
- Team player, motivated personality with ability to work under pressure
- Excellent communication skills in English and German (written and spoken)
- Swiss or EU/EFTA citizen with or valid work permit for Switzerland
