Tasks

The Architect Kafka Middleware will design, build, test, and deploy quality messaging and streaming solutions that are consistent with project objectives, technology architecture standards and departmental best practices. The Architect Kafka Middlewarewill design and implement event sourcing strategies, administer enterprise-wide messaging architecture, and provide daily management of Kafka eco-system

Your Responsability
- Configure complex data imports and process configurations across multiple upstream and downstream systems within the business
- Act as a lead KAFKA architect to design data integration patterns and solutions (Data Streaming) to ensure successful product implementations
- Experience administering event-driven components including Confluent and Kafka
- Project experience on the environment supported along with the tools used, size of the environments, number of nodes/clusters, and messages processed
- Expert in installing and maintaining Confluent Platform components including: Apache Kafka; Confluent: Control Center, Schema Registry, Replicator, and Security Plugins
- Perform Kafka security authentication, authorization and encryption; including high-level, operational maintenance, support, and upgrades for Kafka clusters
- Manage multi-nodes Kafka cluster environments: handle all Kafka environment builds, including design, capacity planning, cluster setup and performance tuning

Capacity planning and implementation of new/upgraded hardware and software releases as well as for storage infrastructure
- Proactively monitor and setup alerting mechanism for Kafka Cluster and supporting hardware to ensure system health and maximum availability

Perform high-level, day-to-day operational maintenance, support, and upgrades for the Kafka cluster

Provide technical expertise and guidance to production support.

**Profile**:

- Bachelor's degree in business, software engineering, computer sciences or related field preferred
- Expert-level experience using KAFKA designing data integration solutions
- Expertise in Kafka architecture
- Expertise in confluent,camel, apache, kafka connect, stream, bridge, camel
- Experience working with Agile software development life cycles
- Strong organizational, analytical, critical thinking and leadership skills with good time management and ability to work with diverse teams

Other Qualifications
- Strong personal computer and business solutions software skills
- Ability to work in a team environment, creating & maintaining formal and informal networks
