Our client, a global and growing international biotechnology company with a strong reputation, is looking for a Material Planner to join their Supply Chain team in Vaud canton.

This person will oversee and optimize the flow of materials, while considering the production planning, the warehouse capacities, inventory targets and the drug substance demand plans with the goal of eliminating potential disruptions to manufacturing and overall operations within the GMP Manufacturing space.

**Your responsibilities**:

- Develop and implement ERP tools, planning tools, spreadsheet and relational databases
- Create and maintain planning and logistics metrics to enable process improvements
- Plan and execute planning of manufacturing and materials. Ensure that materials and related inventory are available on time, in quantity and in appropriate quality status to support requirements through purchase order creation, availability on time for the manufacturing and issue management.
- Act as an End 2 End supply chain representative and facilitator across the Supply Chain organization
- Lead the E2E control tower to provide visibility and holistic view to E2E stakeholders
- Develop and execute the E2E planning of materials and product supply.
- Create and maintain Master BOM s within Material Requirements Planning (MRP) system
- Coordinate Material Master Data creation, maintenance, verification and troubleshooting
- Monitor schedule to assure materials are procured within Lead Times established
- Participate in the decision-making process regarding schedule changes by communicating current inventory levels and anticipated receipts
- Implement and coordinate best practice inventory planning and replenishment of materials. In collaboration with the Warehouse Manager, manage inventory levels to avoid any obsolescence and report slow moving items

**Your profile**:

- Background in Supply Chain, Logistics, Materials Management or scientific disciplines preferred.
- Significant experience from pharmaceutical industry.
- Minimum of 5 years related experience in material planning with good knowledge with MRP, Inventory Management ERP, Logistics, Project and Suppliers Management.
- Must speak English and French
