An opportunity has arisen for a Lead Distribution Center Manager who will report into the Director Packaging Operations & Distribution Center. This role is based at our Schachen site.

**Responsibilities**:

- Manage and leads the Logistics & Distribution Group.
- Develop and lead the site’s wide logistics center and other functional areas (Distribution Center, Material Management)
- Continuously improves efficiencies of business processes, costs, cycle times, logistics and distribution technologies in collaboration with global functions.
- Fosters process alignment between Logistics & Distribution and Stakeholders.
- Manages allocated cost centres and capital plans in line with relevant policies and procedures.
- Ensures Logistics & Distribution Operations are in compliance with our company policies, site safety and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) procedures.
- Provide coaching, leadership and personal development opportunities to logistics & distribution personnel based on our leadership principles and procedures. Responsible for developing team members’ performance, offering feedback, and demonstrating the desired skills and expected work ethics.
- Sets objectives, leads performance management and annual performance management processes within Logistics & Distribution Operations.
- Responsible for recruiting, onboarding and training team members, setting strategy and monitoring progress towards goals.
- Supports continuous improvement of site and department quality systems and processes including implementation of our Global Quality Standards.
- Responsible for Environment Health and Safety compliance and awareness within Logistics & Distribution.
- Continues professional education by periodic attendance of internal or external scientific/technical meetings and managerial courses.
- Maintains contact with relevant professional organizations or other institutions focusing on Clinical Supply regulatory and operations topics. Creating, approving and implementation of Standard Operating Procedure’s (SOP’s) & GMP documents.
- Manages deviations, CAPA’s and Changes.
- Ensures continuous inspection readiness and supports internal audits and external inspections.

**Your Profile**:
**Education**:

- Bachelor’s Degree preferred.

**Required Experience and Skills**:

- Experienced people management or leadership skills.
- Experienced logistics manager
- Experienced and strong people manager with proven track record of developing talent.
- Fluent in English and German

**Preferred Experience and Skills**:

- Project Management experience.
- Demonstrated leadership including strategy development and deployment experience with tangible delivered benefits.
- Demonstrated operational management experience, including capacity planning and scheduling.
- Ability to manage complex cross-functional initiatives.
