Plm Manager

As part of Leonardo, Kopter currently develops the AW09, a next generation single-engine helicopter that offers the largest cabin and cargo hold in its category, increased modularity and modern electronic systems. The AW09 delivers latest safety standards as well as more performance and comfort at low operating costs.
Kopter is set to become Leonardo’s Centre of Excellence for new light helicopters and an incubator of new technologies, contributing to the development of hybrid and electrical propulsion systems. Kopter’s 320 talented team members are primarily based in Switzerland, near Zurich and in Mollis (Canton of Glarus).

**Responsibilities**:

- Owns the PLM vision and strategy for the AW09 based on a pragmatic and value-driven approach
- Leads process harmonization, partnering with business process (e.g. Change Management, Configuration Management, DMU Management) owners and leads across multiple functions
- Owns the PLM plan and prioritizes projects to ensure that processes and systems are efficient and effective for the business
- Oversees the PLM system, driving the design of the solution and its implementation in close collaboration with IT. Ensures the solution is aligned with the business needs, and define corrective actions
- Accountable for the data model and attributes
- Develops a training plan and support users’ training as needed

Your qualifications & experience
- University Degree, preferably in Aerospace
- Minimum 5 years of PLM or Configuration Management experience in Aerospace
- Minimum 5 years of Project Management experience
- Aviation industry minimum 10 years of experience
- Knowledge of CAD tools
- English - minimum B2 verbal and written
