- These two positions are located in the French Translation Section, Languages Service, Division of Conference Management, Department for General Assembly and Conference Management, Geneva. The incumbents work under the general supervision of the Chief, French Translation Section.

- An advanced university degree (Master’s degree or equivalent) is required. A first-level university degree in combination with two additional years of qualifying experience may be accepted in lieu of the advanced university degree.
- Job - Specific Qualification
- Having passed the relevant combined United Nations Language Competitive Examination for French Translators/Précis-writers, Editors, Verbatim Reporters and Copy Preparers/Proofreaders/Production Editors or a relevant United Nations language competitive examination for French Translators held before 2017 is required. Successful completion of both degree and non-degree programs in data analytics, business analytics or data science programs is desirable.
