System Architect Connected Modules

**Job description**:
To strengthen the team, our Connected Modules & Displays Business Unit is currently looking for a system architect. You will have the opportunity to work from specification and system level study to design implementation and qualification of the true ultra-low power designs in close collaboration with customer and production support team. We are looking for an experienced professional motivated to drive design, methodology and best practices with a direct effect on product performance and BU top & bottom line.
**Main tasks and responsibilities**:
- Work with customers and team members on product specifications and device concepts / architecture
- Perform state-of-the-art ultra-low power design implementation
- Work with team to transfer design to high-volume manufacturing, working with process development engineers to meet product needs
- Work with team to ensure product meets the requirements; passes the qualification and satisfies the customer
- Collaborate with others sites in US, Prague, and Bangkok, and others Business Units to improve synergy on methodology and share best practices
- Establish good practices, design bricks and -rules for development and validation

**Professional requirements**:
- Preferred academic background: Master's degree (or higher) in Electronic engineering
- Low-power HW design/architecture experience with integration of the latest in wireless IoT chipsets and low-power sensor technologies
- Expertise in Digital & Analog electronic design
- Experience and understanding of the challenges and impact of
- PCB technology
- Mechanical and Electrical design
- Materials selection
- Embedded software.
- Good understanding of industrialization and production constraints
- Experience in design of RF circuits including antenna matching and filter networks would be a plus
- Hands on lab experience with the latest state-of-the-art equipment
- Experience with world-wide wireless product certification
- Strong customer interaction skills and experience
- Strong understanding of wireless systems and communication protocols (e.g. experience in Bluetooth Low-Energy)
**Languages**:
- English fluent (oral & written) is a must
- Any other language (preferably french) would be an asset
