Job description/Stellenbeschreibung:
In this role you will be responsible for creating and maintaining the turbocharger product documentation and making it available to engine builders, end customers and service stations. You will be part of a small, motivated documentation team, which is affiliated with the technical service.

In dieser Funktion sind Sie verantwortlich für die Erstellung und Pflege der Turbolader Produktdokumen-tation, sowie deren Bereitstellung für Motorenbauer, Endkunden und Servicestellen. Sie sind Teil eines kleinen, motivierten Dokumentationsteams, welches dem technischen Service angegliedert ist.

Your responsibilities/Ihre Aufgaben:
- Professional and target group-oriented creation and updating of Assembly Instructions, Operation Manuals, Working Instructions, Spare Parts Illustrations, etc.- Publication of information/documents for our target groups: end users, engine builders & service stations.- Independent research of all necessary data and information, which are necessary for processing the orders.- Leading or collaborating in documentation projects. This involves close cooperation with the Product Development, Design and Service Departments.- Assistance in the further development and modernization of the processes, workflows and information distribution of the Product Documentation.- Supervision and Coordination with the external service providers and ensuring the professional and timely implementation.- Fachgerechte und zielgruppenorientierte Erstellung und Aktualisierung von Montageanleitungen, Betriebshandbücher, Arbeitsinstruktionen, Ersatzteillisten etc.- Publikation der Informationen/Dokumente für unsere Zielgruppen: Endkunden, Motorenbauer & Servicestellen.- Selbständige Recherche aller notwendigen Daten und Informationen, welche für die Bearbeitung der Aufträge notwendig sind.- Leiten oder Mitarbeit in Dokumentationsprojekten. Damit verbunden ist eine enge Zusammenarbeit mit den Abteilungen Produktentwicklung, Konstruktion und dem Service.- Mithilfe bei der Weiterentwicklung und Modernisierung der Prozesse, Workflows und Informationsverteilung der Produktdokumentation.- Betreuung der externen Dienstleister, sowie Sicherstellung der fach
- und termingerechten Umsetzung.

Your background/Ihre Anforderungen:
- Mechanical background and/or Higher Education in Technical School or Degree in Mechanical Engineering.- Experience in the field of Technical Documentation.- Formal Education/Certification in Technical Writing is an added advantage or willingness to continue your education.- Knowledge of product liability, product safety and legal regulations or willingness to learn more about them.- Structured analytical thinking.- Understanding of Modular Topic Based Authoring & Rule Based Writing.- Independent, precise and punctual way of working.- Knowledge and experience of using content management systems (CMS), preferably SCHEMA ST4.- Knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign is an added advantage.- Good written and spoken, English and German skills.- Technische Grundausbildung und/oder höhere Fachausbildung HF oder Ingenieur FH Maschinenbau.- Erfahrung und Ausbildung im Bereich der technischen Redaktion.- Eine Ausbildung/Zertifizierung im technischen Schreiben ist ein zusätzlicher Vorteil oder die Bereitschaft, sich darin weiterzubilden.- Kenntnis von Produkthaftung, Produktsicherheit und Rechtsvorschriften oder die Bereitschaft, sich darin weiterzubilden.- Strukturiertes, analytisches Denken.- Verständnis für modulares, themenbasiertes und regelbasiertes Schreiben.- Selbständige, exakte und termingerechte Arbeitsweise.- Kenntnisse im Umgang mit Content Management Systemen (CMS), vorzugsweise SCHEMA ST4.- Kenntnisse von Adobe Illustrator und Adobe InDesign ist ein zusätzlicher Vorteil.- Gute schriftliche und mündliche Deutsch
- und Englisch-Kenntnisse.
