Overview of Role

Key Responsibilities
- Supporting the preparation of month-end and year-end financial statements in accordance with IFRS and local GAAPs
- Assisting in audits by preparing and providing supporting documentation and information
- Overseeing the Accounts Receivables process (generate and send invoices to customers in a timely manner, monitor and follow up on outstanding receivables and proper cash allocation)
- Substantiation of financial transactions by auditing documents
- Liaising with external accountants of the Bank's subsidiaries to ensure timely reporting to Group Finance
- Driving the accounting journal postings and revenue and cost allocations
- Establishing standard operating procedures
- Owning the third-party relationship process
- Contributing to process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy

Education and Qualifications
- Qualified Accountant (e.g., Fachfrau/Fachmann im Finanz
- und Rechnungswesen, Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field)
- SAP knowledge and experience preferred
- Fully computer literate (MS Office)

Experience, Skills and Competencies required
- Professional experience in Accounting, Accounts Payable & Receivable, or related fields
- Problem-solving mind-set combined with strong analytical skills and a flair for numbers
- Task-focused and able to work independently and collaboratively to meet deadlines
- Structured, organized and collaborative personality
- Control consciousness
- Open-minded - ready for change
- Fluent in English, other languages (German, French) are beneficial
