**Role responsibilities**

Responsible for the outsourced Endocrinology Global Warehouse HUB and for the Transports leaving the HUB for EU and ROW. It is as well responsible for the transport network for the incoming goods to the Global Warehouse HUB.
It is responsible to ensure a high service level at lowest possible costs, with main responsibilities:

- Manage overall relationship with external LSP (Logistics Service Providers) for the warehouse and the transport.
- Ensure requested service and costs levels are maintained
- Operationally manage shipments for EU and ROW customers in cooperation with local management
- Operationally manage Customer Service with LSP for EU shipments
- Operationally manage with the Supply Manager the stock replenishment from the supplier to the HUB
- Drive continuous improvement projects related to the area of responsibility
- Represent Warehousing and Transportation in Cross functional projects
- Manage KPIs (OTIF, Logistic costs, Efficiency gains)
- Manage the Master data for the Basel Supply Chain team

**Qualifications**
- University Degree in Supply Chain or very Supply Chain related functions
- Min 5 years on hand experience in similar role with increased independence, preferably in the Pharmaceutical/Consumer Health business
- Very strong analytical thinking
- Self-starter, able to work independently and picking up responsibility in a newly created Supply chain
- Continuous Improvement mindset. Ability to switch between very operational and conceptual tasks
- Ability to work in remote teams
- Good negotiation skills
- Very good English (must have), German & Italian (asset)
- SAP (Modules: MM, SD)
- MS Excel (very good knowledge as well in creation of ad hoc and ongoing analysis/data management tools)
