You will pioneer a new role within Global (Re)Insurance A&R with us. You will engage by multiple accounting bases, including Swiss Solvency Test (SST), IFRS, and be energized by various overlapping responsibilities.

We are looking for a hardworking and motivated individual to lead the production of the P&C Swiss Solvency Test (SST in short) results for our Swiss-domiciled legal entities. You will decide and act with a degree of autonomy in practice areas with the delegated authorities.
**In this position, you will**:
- Lead the preparation and production of the SST results for liabilities for all Swiss-domiciled legal entities
- Substantiation and validation of the calculations and results including error handling
- Maintain close exchange and collaborate with Global Carrier Management teams, Risk Management, Actuarial & Reserving, Group Finance Reporting among many other teams
- Monitor data quality gates (pre-close activities as well as continuous process throughout the SST closing)
- Continuously look for opportunities to improve, standardise and automate the current processes
- Acquire a detailed understanding of economic balance sheets and analyse and validate economic legal entity balance sheets used for SST
**About the Team**:
The Global (Re)Insurance Accounting & Reporting P&C team in Group Finance has global ownership of P&C sub-ledger related accounting and closing activities, covering all valuation bases (i.e. US GAAP, IFRS 17, SST, and Statutory). The P&C Cashflow Production & Controlling team includes the SST team and is part of the Global (Re)Insurance A&R P&C team. We are a high-performing team with varied strengths of ca. 50 team members primarily located in Bangalore, Bratislava and Zurich. We work in a friendly, collaborative and lively environment. A position in our team gives you a wide range of opportunities to expand your understanding of the accounting and economics of the reinsurance business, and the operation of the quarterly closing.
**About You**:
You are passionate about working on a wide range of interesting and challenging tasks. You have excellent analytical skills with comprehensive financial thinking and be able to interpret financial data. You demonstrate strong personal accountability and are competent to work a flexible schedule and deliver under time pressure. You have the ability to perform tasks with a high degree of autonomy, but also collaborate with all partners to deliver on clearly attributed goals and objectives.
**Your profile**:
- University degree, preferably in Economics or Finance (or equivalent)
- 5-10 years' experience in similar positions within Finance or Risk Management
- Deep knowledge of and experience working with IFRS 17 is a strong plus
- Strong and effective communication skills at all organization levels of the company
- Strong influencing and social skills, ability to connect with people and teams from other departments
- Ability to handle both conceptual and practical challenges
- Creative, showing a high degree of own initiative
- Detail oriented and diligent in execution, balanced with pragmatic solutions
