**Global Internship Program**:
As a Labcorp intern, you will have the opportunity to support meaningful assignments that compliment an education in STEM+ Business and Healthcare disciplines, and are inspiring and valuable in our mission to improve health and improve lives across the globe. In addition to department work, we support your professional development and career exploration through program workshops, leadership speakers, employee resource group introductions, new hire panel discussions and small group ‘coffee chats’.

**Internship Assignment Summary**:
**The Role**

The successful applicant will have a basic understanding of data structures, database systems and procedures and an understanding of the range of analytical tools used to undertake different types of analyses.

Additionally, the intern will get help in developing a number of soft skills, for example: communication, scheduling, team-working, quality focus & deadline driven, taking the initiative and proactivity.

**You will learn the following**
- Develop a good understanding of the data lifecycle, including: what is Data Governance and a Data Management Plan, how to drive Data Quality through systems, and how to create meaningful visual dashboards.
- Good time management and organization skills, the ability to prioritize own work to meet tight deadlines while maintaining the highest standards of work.
- Effective communication skills; a co-operative and team orientated approach.

**Education/Qualifications/Skills**:

- You must be a student and be eligible for an internship agreement with a third party
- Minimum of a BSc in Math, Computing, Business Performance/Analytics or any related field
- Experience using Spotfire or Power BI at an intermediate level required
- A willingness to learn with great attention to detail
- Good communication skills
- Proficiency in English is mandatory. Additionally, an intermediate level in French is required.
