Our Global Client Directors at Microsoft are adept at building strategic alliances and lasting relationships with our most valued customers. - This role is vital to Microsoft. Traditional sales engagement methods have evolved and customers are more seeking consultative partnerships. The best Client Directors care deeply and have a passion for learning both about Microsoft and our customers businesses and the communities they serve.

Armed with world class cloud solutions, your challenge is to unlock the potential of enterprise customers through insight and storytelling to demonstrate clear business value accelerating their Digital Transformation and success. High level customer satisfaction is a key measure, as are revenue/consumption targets.

The most successful Global Client Directors are keen on meaningful customer engagement, value diverse perspectives and are able to integrate a variety of views into a value proposition for our customers. The best Global Client Directors are resourceful leaders of virtual teams, and curious to listen and learn from their customers. These attributes allow them to advise confidently and elevate their customer’s business.

This role will support a global company headquartered in Switzerland and will be orchestrating an international team.

**Responsibilities**:

- Leadership Plan and present clear vision of customer success.

Working with your v-team you will be skilled at building and owning a customer plan that demonstrates critical insight and highlights new business opportunities for both Microsoft and the customer. It is key that this plan be a living document that clearly lays out a vision for success that challenges convention but sits comfortably with the ambitions.
- You will be skilled at building lasting relationships both inside the company and inside your customer. To do this you will care deeply about the people you work with and their success. Our best people have a passion for learning and treasure diverse perspectives and work hard to integrate their learning and other’s perspectives into our customer value proposition.

Building alliance is the key to success at Microsoft and our most successful Global Client Directors are keen collaborators that help stakeholders across the business understand their customer journey and how Microsoft are best able to support their Digital Transformation. Leading the team on one of our most important customer relationships you will have an opportunity to develop a network across the breadth of Microsoft and will sit comfortably telling the story of your customer to stakeholders across all of Microsoft.

Being a leader in our strategic customers’ team, you will bring your own perspective and will help add to the depth of understanding around customer and Industry, and where you don’t know something you will be energetic in looking to leverage the knowledge of others.

As a leader in our profession, you will be comfortable with the measures of success:

- Driving customer satisfaction through enabling the customer Digital Transformation
- Achieve customer satisfaction, consumption and revenue growth goals through aligning our value proposition to the customer own needs and goals.
- Bring the entire value that the Microsoft family has to offer to your customer to propose and deliver relevant solutions with tangible business outcomes.
- Solving customer business problems.

**Qualifications**:

- We are looking for a very senior sales professional with a wealth of experience in sales, incl. selling technology, business outcomes, sales management.
- Credibility is a key attribute as you will regularly sit with CxO’s and other customer executives to advise and challenge.
- At a minimum a bachelor’s degree is required and a focus on business or technology would be helpful.
