**MAIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLE**
- Teaching Creative Dance to Primary and Middle School Students G5, G6 and G7. This a full-time role starting on 14th August.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Using and develop the existing resources from The Juilliard Creative Classroom to teach dance to G5, G6 and G7 students.
- Being able to inspire and motivate all students to create and recreate dance in a wide variety of forms.
- Managing a group of students encouraging self-discipline and good organisation skills.

**SKILLS / QUALITIES REQUIRED**
- Qualification
- You hold a University Degree in Dance or related, and a teaching qualification.
- Experience
- You have a successful dance teaching experience. Ideally, in an international school setting.
- Prior Skills and Knowledge
- You have a good rapport with students and excellent organisational skills. As a native English speaker or someone with equivalent fluency, you communicate effectively, encouraging students to be creative and to reflect thoughtfully on their dance performances.
- Additional skills
- You must be able to work as part of a team and have the ability to meet tight deadlines.

**CRUCIAL INFORMATION**
- It is important that the post holder is always aware of Child Protection guidelines and observes a professional distance from students whilst still developing effective working and caring relationships.
- You understand and embrace the importance of diversity and inclusion and stand against discrimination in any form. Background investigations and reference checks for the past ten years will be conducted during the selection process.
