Overview of Role:
As part of the Global Advisory team in Zurich, a Vice President / Director will have broad exposure to a wide range of:
- Products, including M&A and Financing (Equity Advisory, Debt Advisory and Restructuring)- Industries, including Healthcare; Industrials; Consumer, Retail and Leisure; Energy & Power; Financial Services; Real Estate; TMT, etc.
**Responsibilities**:
- Lead the day-to-day management of projects- Work on multiple transactions and with multiple project teams simultaneously on all critical aspects of transactions- Interact with counterparts at the client and other advisers- Support senior management and coverage bankers in origination efforts- Identify new business opportunities and ideas for our clients that advance their strategic objectives- Lead teams in the preparation of strategic analyses and financial models required for evaluating and completing such transactions, as well as client presentations, information memoranda and similar documents- Liaise with other bankers from the team, as well sector, country and product teams in other offices- Provide leadership, mentorship and supervision to junior bankers
Skills & Qualifications:
- Prior experience of the above-referenced work in an investment banking role- Quantitative and analytical skills to develop corporate financial models and valuations; deep understanding of financial statement analysis- Experience with preparing and participating in client presentations, managing projects and the execution of transactions- Knowledge of the relevant financial and regulatory environment- Ability to build trusted client relationships and be a primary, value-additive contact person- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, think on their feet and manage multiple high priority tasks simultaneously- Ability to build a strong working environment within the team, across lines of business and across different geographies- Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, PowerPoint and Excel)- Strong academic background- Fluency in German and English, with exceptional written and verbal communication skills
