Géneral Manager

We are currently looking for a**:

- General Manager H/F** for our client, **the Faern Arosa Altein Hotel (Arosa - Canton of Graubünden in Switzerland).**

**The hotel has 137 Art Deco-style rooms, classified as 4-star. The Faern Arosa Altein is part of a Contemporary & Lifestyle collection of hotels in Switzerland.**

The property has two restaurants, the Latina Restaurant and the Panorama Restaurant, as well as a lounge bar and a rooftop, an outdoor pool, an artificial lazy river, and a spa offering massages, body and aromatherapy treatments

As General Manager, you will be responsible for leading and supervising all of the hotel's activities, ensuring that every guest has an unforgettable customer experience. You work closely with the teams to ensure that the hotel's objectives are met.

Under the supervision of the Group's Operations Director and as General Manager of the hotel, you manage the establishment, which includes 45 employees and a team of 7 executives.

**Main missions**:

- Develop the brand's reputation and lifestyle positioning while respecting all required codes and standards.
- Improve customer satisfaction goals.
- Collaborate with executives and members of the hotel team to implement services and programs that meet customers' expectations to provide them with an unforgettable experience.

**HR & Team Management**:

- Develop programs and initiatives to increase team engagement and loyalty in line with the hotel's service philosophy.
- Develop, implement and monitor team planning to ensure workforce stability.
- Set performance and development goals for employees and provide regular mentoring, coaching and feedback to improve performance.
- Supervise HR, management and HR marketing-related actions and their compliance with the company's values and policies.

**Management & Finance**:

- Prepare annual investment, cash flow, sales, and marketing plans in collaboration with the finance, sales, and marketing teams, and accurately forecast budgets and goals to be achieved.
- Analyze financial elements to generate revenue, future profitability, and maximum return on investment.
- Use distribution channels and platforms to generate revenue and maximize market share.
- Drive investment plans and asset management initiatives, including collaborating with owners to improve the hotel's leading position in the market.

**And you are also responsible for the following missions**:

- Safety of property and people: Ensure a safe environment for customers, your teams, and the hotel's property.
- Be a true PR to promote the hotel and the brand to local economic actors.
- Encourage team members' involvement in issues related to the organization and management of the establishment.
- Develop and implement action plans to respect the environment by taking measures to reduce the hotel's carbon footprint.
- Duty to be expected.

**Requirements for this position**:

- You have brilliantly held equivalent GM positions for more than 5 years in Switzerland and internationally.
- You have a university degree in hotel management or business school.
- You are able to work closely with owners, investors, partners, and suppliers to achieve the goals set for the company.
- You can create a culture of operational excellence and customer service.
- You are an effective communicator and an expert
- You are flexible and capable of working in a dynamic and fast-evolving environment.
- You are a charismatic leader, capable of motivating and inspiring team members to achieve company objectives.
- You are able to work independently with mínimal supervision.
- You are familiar with Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint, as well as hotel management systems.

**Job Type**: 100%

**Salary**: CHF104,000.00 - CHF117,000.00 per year
