Key responsibilities:

- Lead the QA Operations Organization to manage the QA activities in Lonza internal and external Drug Product Manufacturing sites
- Ensures for DPS Stein operations and related projects
- Guide group members in line with Lonza values and behavior including objective setting, performance evaluations, development planning and participate in recruiting process
- Support a culture of high performance and trust to assure that the required level of knowledge and skills is available and identify competency gaps
- Establish and implement training and development plans
- Ensures effective use of resources (budget, time, personnel, systems)
- Represent QA Operations in inspections, audits and local and global initiatives

Key requirements:

- Academic degree (Master or higher) in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences or related field
- Previous experience in Quality Assurance in a manufacturing environment within Pharmaceutical Industries and GMP controlled environments
- Sound knowledge in manufacturing of chemical and biological drug products
- Excellent knowledge of Swiss, EU and US GMP regulations
- Strong experience in leadership and change management in particular around changing cultures
- Structured, precise and well-organized working attitude; open-minded for new ideas and suggestions; agile, highly motivated and dynamic drive
- Excellent English language skills are required
