**Role Summary**:
This role is suited to an experienced dental/medtech education business administrator with a pragmatic approach and can-do attitude. It requires a combination of tactical & forward planning, customer liaison and most importantly, collaboration & communication. This role sits within the Marketing & Education team where the Educational Course & Material Co-Ordinator will need to work across a large number of stakeholders and therefore a high degree of organisation and the ability to prioritise and work under pressure to meet deadlines are important. The role should be seen as more than an administrative role, where the individual will be empowered to define the future educational model and to challenge their peers and the wider organisation, to ensure the best possible outcome for the business. Status quo is not expected. A willingness to remain flexible and to show initiative, to support the delivery of the plan is essential.

**Responsibilities**:

- Super User for the online SKILL platform - managing the relationship with HQ team, challenging the HQ team to meet requirements and responsibility for the entry of new courses onto the platform
- Working closely with the Educational Course Managers, Product Managers, Area Business Managers, Country dotted line managers to define the annual Educational Calendar and update Events Calendar/SKILL Platform for the region
- Create with Education Mangers Modular power packs sessions on our learning platform (WeLearn) to promote self learning
- Actively implement and use the newly developed course management guide
- Support the Marketing & Education Managers to implement the Return on Investment Analysis - lead & opportunity management for Educational courses
- Identification of new ways to improve current processes - seeking new opportunities for efficiency and business improvement
- Schedules and coordinates the logistics for all regional and local training events including the organization of course materials and training equipment for all Straumann Group brands and solutions and the coordination with selected training facilities
- Assigns classes, as per the accessibility of classrooms, equipment and trainers
- Coordinates the amount of course material and takes responsibility of the stock levels for the region
- Management of materials available at defined regional Hubs and centrally at the warehouses at Headquarters in Basel, Switzerland
- Takes responsibility for the management and maintenance of the existing course materials located indifferent regional Hubs and constantly updates the pool of course materials (phase-in / phase-out of materials) in cooperation with logistics, Education Academy and Commercial Marketing
- Coordinates the amount of course material needed and considering the lead time with the respective production.
- Manages and updates the digital course material catalogue in cooperation with logistics, Education Academy and Commercial Marketing
- Coordinates and discusses course set ups and the material requests with external speakers
- Participation in the conception of trainings and events with regards to course material
- Manages external service providers and maintains partner-/relationships
- Plans and manages the local investment budget with regards to course materials.
- Provides on-site material support of regional and local courses
- Holds internal trainings for employees.

**Profile**:
Required:

- Strong customer service orientation
- Fluent English skills; any additional language is an advantage
- Experienced in using MS Office (Word, Excel) as well as E-Mail systems (Outlook) and professionally managing files and records
- Comfortable with up to 30-40% travelling (as local on-site support is requested oncourses)
- Energetic, straightforward professional with strong hands-on mentality
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a matrix environment Full time
