The Institute of Geography and Sustainability (IGD) seeks to recruit a

**PhD Student / Graduate Assistant in Social Geography and Development Studies.**

This position is under the responsibility of Prof. René Véron and linked to IGD’s Political Ecologies research cluster.

IGD is an interdisciplinary community of academics that work in the fields of Geography and Sustainability. With 25 professors and senior lecturers and more than 80 PhD students and postdoctoral researchers, IGD offers an international, interdisciplinary environment that is stimulating and conducive to high-level research. It regularly hosts renowned conferences and researchers from all over the world.

Activity rate: 80%

French and English language proficiency is essential. English is the working language of Prof. Véron’s research group and French is the main teaching language at UNIL.
