**Vacancy**:Originator Weather - Reinsurance (f/m/x)**:

- We are looking for a **Business Developer & Originator Weather** for our client, a successful **Reinsurance** Company based in Zürich. For this position, the employee in question will work directly for our client. Despite the Covid-19 situation, our customer is currently looking for motivated employees (f/m/x). **Your Responsibilities as** Originator Weather - Reinsurance (f/m/x)**
- Exploring, driving, and proactively generating new business opportunities within the global energy sector and beyond tackling new industries, build up and out broker relations etc.
- Collaborating closely with relevant business units (within Capital Partners, F&C, Climate,) and conducting client-facing activities to ensure a healthy deal pipeline, push prospects and foster closing of transactions
- Developing and giving professional presentations and sales pitches
- Manage Deal Pipeline, incl. analytics to derive trends, growing markets and sales strategies
- Handling, coordinating, and working on client and broker requests swiftly in close cooperation with structuring
- Leading projects and working in cross-functional deal teams in exploring and pursuing solutions with clients, brokers, and other external business partners
- Support global marketing & communication activities through identification of relevant conferences to attend and publications to assess as well as preparation of papers and presentations

**Your Qualification and Skills**
- Master's degree with a focus on financial climate risk or financial management or energy/renewable energy
- Financial education (e.g. CFA) is a plus
- Fluent in English (German or any additional language will be of benefit
