**What will you do**
You will become a part of a product and solution category marketing team and will help develop, implement, and manage key brand strategies for Johnson Controls within a portfolio and solution set. In addition, this role will manage brand architecture, brand rationalization and brand naming and taxonomy programs.
**How will you do it**
- Develop clear, customer-driven brand architecture and brand hierarchy strategies to match enterprise strategy and vision
- Evaluate category brand strategy against competitive set and define opportunities and gaps
- Evolve brand strategies to support growth targets and market position
- Develop multi-channel go to market brand strategies and manage the implementation
- Implement brand management and measurement frameworks as a strategic brand operating system
- Manage matrix relationships with diverse stakeholders to drive connectivity to the enterprise strategy
- Assess and develop descriptive naming and taxonomy aligned with the global operating system and manage the aligned execution
**What we look for**
**Required**
- Minimum of 6 years of progressive marketing, brand, or related experience, focused on brand architecture, naming and taxonomy
- Demonstrated experience in multichannel brand and or marketing strategy execution
- Excellent written and spoken English language skills
- Ability to collaborate in a matrix environment to effectively balance priorities.
- Proven track record of strong leadership
**Preferred**
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related curriculum.
- 3-4 years of direct experience in brand management or marketing consulting firm
- International marketing experience
