**Position Summary**
As a **Regulatory Affairs Manager**, you will act as a strategic business partner helping to navigate the regulatory environment to create business opportunity for one of our Nutrition categories. In this role you will be supporting I/R globally in cooperation with other global stakeholders and market RSA to ensure geo-expansion and advocacy for the category. The job requires deep knowledge of the infant formula regulatory environment (technical, innovation, Codex and market specifics) combined with agility to respond to fast evolving business needs.

**A**Day in the Life of a Regulatory Affairs Manager**
- Drive global regulatory activities in the dedicated innovation/renovation platform together with project stakeholders and market RSA
- Define Regulatory Pathway/ Strategy for projects
- Shape the regulatory environment to increase Nutrition competitiveness towards our markets
- Develop positions and advocacy strategy to be used at market level
- Identify and ensure implementation of strategies to shape the regulatory environment at market and industry levels to increase Nestlé Nutrition competitiveness towards our markets
- Support and train stakeholders and market RSA (scientific - regulatory matters, tools)
- Provide insight into Nutrition RSA processes and SOP development
- Ensure regulatory compliance (ingredient, product, labeling...) directly and in relation with market RSA and Global stakeholders
- Support markets as issue owner in identified topics
- Member of global dairy associations
**What will make you successful**
- Advanced University degree with Scientific qualification (Food, Nutrition )
- At least 10 years’ experience in various positions in Food industry, Pharma or relevant Trade Associations in sciences, regulatory
- Strong knowledge of regulations related to dairy products and transversal regulations related to food. In addition to this good understanding of regulatory framework of categories like food supplements and FSDUs.
- Experience of implementation of global regulatory framework (Codex) and understanding of national regulatory framework outside of EU will be an advantage.
- Experience in new ingredient authorizations globally and also submission of authorization of new health claims.
- Experience working with technical regulations and industry associations across food industries
- Experience of working with commercial teams and demonstrated ability to communicate topics in a simple & business friendly manner
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and help business make risk-based decisions
- Experience of working in an international & multi-cultural environment
- Fluency in English and French or German
