**Primary Function of Position**:
The Senior Contract Negotiator Canada and Global Distribution drives process development and execution, as well as works to elevate the level of commercial and legal expertise around customer and commercial contracting. Senior Contract Negotiator Canada and Global Distribution acts as a key stakeholder in commercial decisions with respect to Intuitive’s Salesforce, Management, other Departments and Customers. Senior Contract Negotiator Canada and Global Distribution structures, drafts and negotiates contracts and tenders. Senior Contract Negotiator Canada and Global Distribution further takes a key role in project and transition initiatives and contributes to the development and advises Management on contracts, pricing and commercial solutions matters to facilitate decision-making and controls legal compliance of the Sales process.
**Roles and Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for managing Commercial contracts primarily in Canada and supporting Global Distribution Market
- Establishing, developing business relationships
- Providing support for import communication and logistic coordination
- Analyzing agreements to ensure compliance with company policies, governmental regulations, revenue recognition and other requirements
- Managing, Developing and Harmonizing Tenders
- First point of contact for Commercial legal queries in Canada
- Advising and establishing Capital pricing strategy together with the Commercial team on adhoc or annual basis
- Advising and establishing Customer acquisition models together with the commercial and pricing team
- Transition expert (Indirect to Indirect or Indirect to Direct or Direct to Indirect)
- Supporting and managing new product launch in Canada

**Qualifications**:**
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Experience**:

- Law/Finance degrees
- Minimum 3 years prior experience with commercial contracts, wide experience in negotiating terms and conditions. Experience in public procurement law and/or tender management is of advantage
- Project management experience
- Strong interest towards business and commercial, financial activities and business decisions, readiness to work hand-in-hand with Salesforce in the frontline
- Detail oriented, organized and able to function in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills (including legal drafting skills)
- Proactive and ability to work independently
- Working knowledge of standard legal terms and conditions
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Understanding of basic and complex financial and business concepts
- Perfect fluency in English, French is a plus
