We are looking for an IFRS Manager to join our Group Accounting team in Winterthur. You will have a central role in being the IFRS expert for our teams world-wide for IFRS questions as well as within the Group Accounting team.

**Your main tasks and responsibilities**:

- Act as the point of contact for the global Finance Organization, solving IFRS queries as well as ensuring that Group Accounting policies are adhered to.
- Maintain and further develop the Group Accounting Manual in accordance with IFRS, incl. training of worldwide colleagues. Managing and coordinating the implementation of new requirements (IFRS / SIX).
- Play a key role in the preparation of the IFRS mid-year and annual consolidated financial statements, incl. responsibility for certain notes and comments.
- Coordinate the external audit process with the appointed audit company.
- Ownership of goodwill impairment testing.
- Support on M&A projects.
- Ensure quality and integrity of financial and accounting data via effective & efficient sanity controls.
- Other ad-hoc responsibilities, incl. leading of projects.

**What you bring to Sulzer**:

- University degree in finance
- Preferably a fully qualified Swiss Certified Public Accountant or equivalent
- Min. 7 years of working experience, preferable in a BIG4
- Very good IFRS knowledge, incl. practical experience
- Solid understanding of reporting and consolidation processes
- Experience in project management
- High analytical and conceptual abilities
- Fluency in English and ideally German (written and verbal)
- Excellent communication skills and team spirit
