EF Education First, the world leader in international education, is looking for a passionate, organized, and hardworking Flights Coordinator to join EF’s in-house travel team. In this role, you will be a member of an energetic, muti national team. You will play a vital role in securing and maintaining airline space for our programs worldwide, helping our travelers - who range from young American students to retirees, solo travelers to entire families and school groups, who could be travel enthusiasts or those stepping off their first flight. We believe the best way to learn about the world is to experience it and in this role you will come to work every day hoping to help as many people as possible do just that. The flights coordinator role is a dynamic one, responsible for group travel consolidation and for delivering flight solutions, whilst adhering to strict budget and quality guidelines. This entry-level position involves close collaboration with colleagues in the U.S. and Canada that work on our Sales, Customer Service and Production teams, as well as daily contact with our Airline partners around the world. We will onboard, train, and support you with comprehensive development programs and ongoing coaching from peers, a dedicated trainer, and managers.

Start date for this full-time position is planned for July/August 2023. The position will be posted through April and interviews will be ongoing into May.

**Your responsibilities**:

- Consolidate groups to travel together in order to maximize profit per bus.
- Identify creative solutions for challenging gateways and land operational restrictions.
- Work closely with our Sales, Customer Service and Production teams to improve overall travel experience for our groups.
- Maintain positive relationships with Airline Suppliers while booking new flights and making changes to existing bookings.
- Work on existing flight reservations throughout the year to constantly improve costs and quality of itineraries.
- Issue airline tickets and manage post ticketing changes.
- Occasionally offer on-call support for our travelers in
- and outside of office hours.

**Education and experiences**:

- University or similar post-secondary degree, with a tourism, hospitality, or logistics focus preferred.
- Previous experience working or studying in an international environment is preferred.
- Previous airline or travel industry experience is an advantage, including experience with a Sabre or Amadeus, but not a requirement.
