Be part of a small project team with regular standup meetings and following agile development methodologies. You will have the possibility to work from home as well as onsite which brings you the flexibility to align working time with your study efforts.

**We can offer you the following topics** **which one catches your attention?** **TOPIC 1**
Investigate and develop health check functions for chillers and heat pumps. You will learn and use state of the art Software development tools like Gitlab for task planning and source code management, Markdown for documenting as well as Office 365.
Work in a modern HVAC test lab, where we define chiller experiments, prepare the chiller test plant and execute tests on it supervised by chiller experts. Analyse and present results in project team and participate in sprint demos. Support health state detection and root cause analysis with the help of rules, Machine Learning, and many other things are waiting for you.

**TOPIC 2**
Embed analytics and optimization algorithms in a cloud environment. You will use and learn about cloud services, contribute with your knowledge to the embedding of analytics functions and optimization algorithms in a cloud environment.
Furthermore, enjoy looking into various programming languages and programming, e.g. python, Node-Red (Javascript).

**TOPIC 3**
Improve an existing simulation-based development environment and develop new core features to support development and testing of analytics and optimization algorithms.
Use Matlab/Simulink as well as Python and improve your respective knowledge. You will Set-up and carry out simulations with the help of an existing model and control block library.
Besides adapt and improve the current simulation-based environment to support standalone simulation and interacting with analytics and optimization algorithms.

**TOPIC 4**
Use Python, JSON, Typescript, Angular/Electron and improve or build-up respective knowledge (not all is needed).
**Your skills**
- You currently graduated studies on a University or University of applied science in the area of Mechanical engineering or Information technology
- Business fluent English required and German is a plus
- You have good analytics skills and you are self-driven and proactive
- you feel at home in a developing environment
- Startingdate: As soon as possible
- Duration: Minimum 6 Months (internship up to 12 and Working students until the end of study’s)
