**Your tasks**:

- Responsibility for the assigned trading and distribution area as well as support in the product purchasing
- Conception of the trading structure in the assigned product area in consultation and cooperation with the supervisor
- Active acquisition of new customers and suppliers
- Active control of sales activities via own offices / agents
- Day-to-day business processing with suppliers and customers
- Risk management of long (resp. and short) positions within the given framework
- Contributing own ideas for strategy development for the expansion and further development
- Processing of complaints and damage claims
- Preparation of various statistics, calculations, monthly planning and budgeting in consultation with the supervisor
- Responsibility for compliance with the annual budget
- Visit customers and suppliers

**Your profile**:

- Several years of work experience in the petrochemical / polymer sector, preferably with an active customer portfolio
- Solution provider mindset, hands-on mentality, as well as structured and independent way of working
- Commercial and/or technical degree-level education (ideally in plastics engineering)
- Excellent communication skills with both internal and external stakeholders; experienced in negotiations
