Lab Assistant, 100%

**Your mission**
As our new Lab Assistant to the Upstream Team you support the daily lab research work. You ensure, that our lab safety and cleaning standards are met and that the day-to-day work in the labs runs smoothly.

**Your tasks**:

- Preparation, assembly, autoclavation and cleaning of benchtop bioreactor vessels
- Preparation of media and stock solutions
- Organize and clean glassware, consumables and laboratory equipment
- Manage and replenish inventories of lab consumables and chemicals
- Ordering of lab consumables and chemicals
- Coordination of equipment maintenance and repair in cooperation with our equipment and service suppliers
- Laboratory housekeeping by maintaining lab areas clean and orderly

**Your profile**
Ideally you have experience in working in a lab. You are interested and sensitive to Safety Standards and understand the need of clean lab space and the consequences if
these are not met.
- Enjoy to work independently
- be able to do physical work (lifting, carrying and cleaning)
- flexible and motivated to learn new tasks
- have an over-average sense for accurate and careful work
- a high sense for "Safety first"
- a strong "service-orientated" mindset
- and a basis understanding of the English language

This role is an ideal starters role for someone interested in Lab and Science. Ideally you are of German mother tongue or fluent in it with any other language being an asset.
