We are now looking for a **Channel Account Manager (M/F/d) **to join our team in **Germany.**

**The Channel Account Manager (M/F/d) **is a key position with responsibility for all aspects of service sales in the Channel business and a key influencer and driver in best in industry development programs and first-class customer service. Service is an extremely important revenue stream for Vertiv and consequently we look for a highly competent and ambitious individual with the potential to grow further in the leadership of the organization.

The role can be located in South of Germany.

**What will you be doing?**
- Identify relevant channel resellers and onboard them to the Vertiv Partner Program and Commercial strategy;
- Actively manage and develop reseller relationships to maximize sales potential and develop business through them;
- Implement and drive Vertiv Partner Program for portfolio of resellers;
- Build Growth Plans for how to strengthen and mature relationships with resellers;
- Daily management of resellers in portfolio selling including conducting monthly pipeline reviews and quarterly business reviews;
- Report on all projects monthly advising status and likely timing of order placement, sales and forecasts;
- Identify needs for special prices, per project, per customer, per product;
- Train resellers’ employees to strengthen their competencies and understanding for Vertiv’s products and value proposition;
- Introduction of new product launches, price lists, tools like VERTIV solution designer for resellers;
- Monitoring sales performance (leading and lagging indicators) for resellers using Vertiv's pipeline management and reporting tools;
- Enforce, support and promote commercial policies for specific product ranges;
- Assist in resolving channel conflicts between resellers;
- Identify business opportunities, monitor competition (product, pricing) and make recommendations for new products and product enhancements and price positioning;
- Qualified interface for legal trade of products, services, systems and technologies in compliance with I.T.C. regulations;
- Increase Vertiv's market share and achieve/exceed budget figures in line with company ethics and policy.

**What you should bring with you**:

- You have a university degree or a commercial degree;
- You have relevant work experience in similar or related positions;
- You have Account Management, Selling, influencing, negotiating and problem-solving skills;
- You have a strong understanding of selling IT solutions in the channel;
- You are strong experienced in relationship building activities with customers;
- You have high ability to develop and execute strategic plans;
- You have experience in identifying and developing end customer projects;
- You have a high level of goal orientation and a solution-oriented way of thinking and acting;
- You have Planning, Organizational and Leadership Skills;
- You are self-starter, ability to plan, organize, and manage time effectively;
- You have strong presentation and communication skills;
- You have the ability to work proactively under own initiative, as well as in a team environment;
- You are able to numerate and IT literate with an in-depth understanding of business performance;
- You are a team player, but you can also organize and motivate yourself very well.
