Eaton EMEA is currently seeking a VP Corporate Controller.

**What you’ll do**:
**Vice President Corporate Controller EMEA **will provide leadership of the Accounting function for all Electrical and Corporate ledgers, external turnover within EMEA Region, and manage a team of regional controllers. The incumbent will ensure accuracy of US GAAP and local GAAP numbers, and that all compliance requirements are met. This role will have a strong focus on the standardization and simplification of financial processes within the EMEA Region (across Zones), rolling out strategic initiatives and working closely with GFSS (Global Financial Services & Systems) to put in place the optimal structures to drive efficiencies.
- Principal responsibility for all closing, accounting, and reporting for the Region
- Statutory reporting and administration for the region
- Manage all regional centers of excellence
- Adherence to all US GAAP, SOX and local statutory/tax compliance requirements must be maintained
- Support all strategic projects within the region such as tax, restructuring, M&A activities, payroll, system implementations and other ad-hoc projects
- Partner with regional operations and global support centers
- Drive and deploy standardization, simplification, and automation of financial processes within the zone, working closely with GFSS and the Electrical Operations to achieve the most efficient and effective structure
- Ethical standards must be always maintained

**Qualifications**:

- Degree in Accounting, Master's Degree is preferred for the role
- At least 15 years of relevant work experience in finance, accounting
- Experience of finance/accounting within a multinational manufacturing environment
- Exposure to Sarbanes Oxley and USGAAP are desirable
- Excellent English language knowledge would complete the profile, additional language proficiency is considered as an advantage
- Ability to operate and deliver independently
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Able to work as part of a team and adhere to company standard processes, practices & policies
- Strong advocate of change
