You are an experienced Shrimp Farm Recirculation System Operator,
striving to move into the role of a farm manger within the next few years. The role of a deputy is a
crucial part of the operations process and ensures that the best management of our Cleantech
Aquaculture farms is undertaken. Continuous learning and improvement are part of our DNA. We
implement highest biosecurity and animal welfare standards. You also find pride in growing natural
and healthy shrimp in a sustainable way.

**Your main responsibilities are, but are not limited to**:

- You will be deputizing in the absence of our Farm Manager.
- You will then manage the daily operation of our state-of-the-art Cleantech Recirculating

Aquaculture Farm and ensure that all is running smoothly and efficiently.
- You always maintain the highest standards in animal husbandry and welfare.
- You will nurture the shrimp from early life to harvest, track their growth, and monitor changing

environmental conditions.
- You will manage the feeding, the data collection and the managing of the water and the shrimp.
- You make sure, that all equipment is in perfect working order.
- You organize and direct team members in operations as well as in maintenance and cleaning.
- You will do the general farm tasks necessary to keep the whole operation running.
- You maintain the highest level of biosecurity and understand that this is mission critical to

success.
- You maintain highest levels of food safety we will go for BAP, ISO 17025, HACCP protocols and

others.

**Our Requirements**:

- 4+ years’ experience of working in a RAS facility.
- You take ownership for your actions and are committed to best practices.
- You have a mindset of continuous learning and improvement.
- You care for and nurture the shrimp and maintain highest standards in biosecurity and animal

welfare.
- You have an open availability to include early/night shifts, weekends and/or holidays.
- You have direct experience growing, monitoring and feeding the shrimp.
- You are physically fit and able, reliable, detail-oriented, organized, hard-working and selfmotivated.
- You have good interpersonal and communication skills and you can work effectively as a part of

a diverse team.
- You are a good team player and are willing and capable to manage your ego to serve the whole.
- You are willing to stay at the farming site.
- You are proficient with computer programs.

**Qualifications**:

- BSc in Aquaculture, Biology, Marine Biology, Environmental or Life Sciences, etc.
- Professional experience with shrimp raising for at least 4 + years.
- Proficiency in English (reading, spoken and written)
