Gouvernante-house Manager in Geneva Asap

We are looking for an experienced House Manager to work live-in or live-out for a family of four members living in a large residence in Geneva, close Eaux-Vives.

**Start date**: ASAP - Full-time - long-term

**General schedule**: Monday to Friday. Flexibility to help on weekends when the family needs extra help.
A House Manager is responsible for overseeing the maintenance of a private residence, ensuring that all aspects of the household run smoothly and efficiently. General duties include:

- Staff Management: Supervising domestic staff such as housekeepers and maintenance personnel (2-3 people)
- Household Management: Ensuring the smooth running of daily routines.
- Budgeting : Creating and managing budgets, monitoring expenses, and ensuring that household financial accounts are accurate and up-to-date.
- Event Planning and Coordination: Planning and managing events such as parties, dinners, and other gatherings.
- Property Management: Overseeing the maintenance and upkeep of the property, including managing repairs and renovations, landscaping, and security.
- Communication: Acting as the primary point of contact for the family, communicating with them regularly to ensure their needs and expectations are being met.
- Travel Management: Organizing and coordinating travel arrangements for the family, including scheduling transportation, accommodations, and activities.
- Vendor Management: Negotiating contracts and managing relationships with vendors such as contractors, service providers, and suppliers.

The ideal House Manager should have strong leadership and communication skills, be highly organized, and have experience managing household staff and operations. They should also be able to work independently and be willing to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays. Additionally, a House Manager should have a strong attention to detail and be able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

**Requirements**:

- Swiss or EU passport or Swiss Permit
- Experience working in the same role at least 4 years
- Strong references
- French fluent and English is a plus
- Confident driver
- The ideal House Manager should have strong leadership and communication skills, be highly organized, and have experience managing household staff and operations.
- Should also be able to work independently and be willing to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Strong attention to detail and be able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Pet friendly. The family has two English bulldog
