**Research&Development Internal Activation Manager**

**Position purpose**:
Support Research&Development organization with a range of topics that require to be further understood, embedded, shared or acted upon by the R&D organization for its continuous evolution and strengthening (ultimately support R&D's contribution towards company Vision#1 & Purpose). The areas of focus are derived from company and R&D's agendas. This role will have responsibility to contribute towards the planning and execution of the focusses via to be delivered via impactful short-term projects. This role has collaboration at the core for successful and targeted execution. Creative, compelling yet appropriate delivery of the output, is key to get right.

**What will you do - responsibilities**:

- Planning, strategic roadmap for the teams activities (overall annual planning, definition of key themes for the year ahead, based on company direction and customer needs = R&D organization)
- Identification of annual strategic focus themes and topics for R&D, derived from and linked to company direction and strategies, mapped against functional internal needs & requirements
- Annual planning and mapping out of these programs & initiatives (definition of roadmap, milestones), considering company-wide comms & activation plans
- With support of R&D Planning Director attain approval to proceed with activities, must be aligned with SVP of R&D
- Activation conceptualization (plan, propose, investigate opportunities how to activate the agreed key themes; how to successfully deliver on objectives)
- Conceptualization of agreed functional internal activation activities
- Propose and deliver solutions to support and facilitate cascading, embedding of company strategic framework into R&D organization
- Identification of opportunities that generate awareness and acceptance of these initiatives across the R&D organization, to ensure driving momentum across R&D organization
- Developing and further advancing activation platforms, under consideration of latest technologies and user requirements/preferences
- Development and creation of opportunities for R&D colleagues to connect & engage within R&D and with key partner functions to enhance contribution to the business
- Build respective project plans & attain approval and support of Senior Members of R&D
- Implementation & Execution (actual planning and realization of concepts, follow-up/through on activities and success)
- Build respective project plans, timelines and resource planning (internal team, stakeholders, external vendors)
- Owning and delivering the implementation/execution of the agreed strategies, incl. collaboration with internal departments and stakeholders to ensure alignment of R&D internal activation programs and initiatives
- Scheduling and tracking/follow-up on project plans
- Delivery of copy writing, small scale design/layout work (multiple formats e.g. video, animation etc.)
- Follow-up/evaluation of activities (acceptance/participation; measures & metrics).

**Who are we looking for - requirements**:

- University Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, Science or Engineering are useful fundamentals to this role from different perspectives
- Experience within this field or comparable of 3 years, experience of working in global organizations, and delivering to tight deadlines, ability to handle ad hoc requests
- Experience of leading projects with multiple stakeholder functions is required
- Fluent in English (written and spoken), knowledge of other languages in an advantage such as German, Japanese or Polish
- Strong organizational and collaboration skills, adaptable to a changing agenda.
- Customer-oriented and service-minded, ability to understand and translate needs into concrete actions
- Ability to prepare and display data and information in a clean, visually appealing way (tailored to dedicated to audience’s needs)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills, able to communicate effectively across hierarchies/with different stakeholders (e.g. senior management team, partner functions like P&C and Corp Comms)
- Good command of company internal communication tools and platforms
- Curious and passionate, with creativity, willing to test/trial new approaches (raising the bar)
- Autonomous and able to prioritize/handling conflicting priorities/requests
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, TEAMS, PPT, Excel)
- Ideally, video editing skills, e.g. knowledge of Canva and/or Adobe PremierPro.
