Key responsibilities:

- Identify, manage and implement projects to drive process excellence (process optimization, cycle time reduction, deviation reduction)
- Support MSAT and Operations in the daily work in process monitoring, batch and campaign reporting
- Connecting IT, OT, QA with MSAT, Operations and QC
- Provide expertise to Lonza network (Visp, global)
- Support global digitalization initiatives and innovation projects in data analytics
- Drive and support projects to improve data quality

Key requirements:

- Bachelor, Master's degree or PhD in Data Engineering or related discipline
- Experience in the area of process monitoring and data analysis, preferably in biopharma
- GMP experience and understanding of bioprocess technology and compliance requirements
- Familiar with OSI PI platform (Historian, AF, EF), DeltaV and Syncade MES data structure
- SQL and data base management
- Ideally familiar with Lonza Standard OT platform tools (Denodo, Looker, PowerBI, Seeq, Simca, Adeptia, Statistica)
- Knowledge in Python, R and Visual Basic is a plus
- Excellent communication skills in English, German is a plus
