Manage M&A project from A to Z, from origination to due diligence, contract negotiations and completion.
- Lead project team size of 10-30 people
- Active involvement and support of origination work through the maintenance of an internal transaction database and competitive intelligence on potential opportunities
- Perform financial modelling including valuation and market analysis on potential investments, working closely with finance and business functions to develop sound business cases
- Lead / support contract negotiations, manage inputs for Transaction documentations and other related agreements through working closely with legal counsels (both internal and external)
- Communicate effectively across the organization and ensure stakeholders are updated
- Working closely with the integration manager to ensure a smooth transition and support post acquisition review
- Oversee business development and implementation of successful acquisition
- Engage with the business teams, as required, for post-acquisition reviews
- Minimum six years of professional experience in corporate M&A, Big 4, consultancy or investment banking
- Strong financial modelling, analytical and valuation skills with high level of attention to detail
- ACCA / CFA qualified is an advantage
- Experience in running M&A projects independently and to lead project teams
- Strong interpersonal, communications and presentation skills
- Fluent in English; German and any other languages is a plus
- Willingness to travel globally up to 40%
