**Computational Biologist**
We are seeking a computational biologist to expand our CRISPR tool discovery platform. Working in an interdisciplinary team of scientists and engineers you will build metagenomic mining pipelines to establish one of the largest CRISPR datasets to date. You will further leverage this data to train foundational protein language models for de novo protein generation.
**Your responsibilities**:
- Develop infrastructure to store and process large amounts of genomic data
- Build scalable pipelines to mine (meta)genomic data
- Create analysis tools to derive actionable insights from directed evolution and screening data
- Build, train, and deploy foundational models for de novo protein generation
**Your profile**: Qualifications
- Advanced knowledge of at least one programming language
- Experience in processing, analyzing, and visualizing genomic data
- Good understanding of genetics, microbiology, and molecular biology
- Experience in designing scalable data systems is a plus
