Ar/ap Accountant

Join our Accounting and Finance Department as an Accounts Payable & Receivable Specialist to support our rapid growth. Your role will be primarily focused on managing and overseeing the accounts payable and accounts receivable functions. You will collaborate closely with team members in these areas to ensure efficient operations. Additionally, you will play a vital role in maintaining the general ledger, ensuring accuracy in financial records and reporting.

The system is used by industry leaders around the world, including DSV, Maersk, and Ingka, Sweden's most recognized furniture retailer.

**What you'll do**:
**Accounts Payable and Receivable Management**:

- Handle the processing and precise recording of vendor invoices, closely working with the accounts payable team, purchasing team and other departments.
- Support in issuing customer invoices and managing collections, in partnership with the accounts receivable team.
- Contribute to the financial closing process, including reconciliation of accounts and making necessary adjustments.

**General Ledger Maintenance**:

- Oversee the general ledger, ensuring all financial transactions are accurately recorded.
- Participate in month-end closing procedures, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies in the general ledger.

**What you bring**:

- Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, or related field.
- Strong proficiency in Excel and familiarity with accounting software and systems.
- Knowledge of IFRS is advantageous.
- Team-oriented mindset with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
