Intern - Lean Management / Operational Excellence

WHAT'S THE ROLE?
In this role you get the chance to drive the Lean journey of our Hilti plant in Schaan together with the Digital & Operational Excellence department. The internship will allow you to actively contribute to the plant’s productivity and cost performance targets.
The start date of this internship is preferably January / February 2024, minimum duration is 5 months.

WHAT DOES THE ROLE INVOLVE?
As intern in our department, you will be part of the Digital & Operational Excellence team. We have a high focus on implementing process optimization and digitalization projects in the manufacturing area as well as in indirect functions.
Your key responsibility will be to support optimization workshops across all functions of the plant and to support lean activities on a day-to-day basis. Working on strategic deployments of global standards as well as conducting tactical kaizen workshops will allow you to gain a good understanding of our operational excellence journey.

WHAT YOU NEED IS:
- Enrollment for the whole internship period in a Bachelor/Master’s program with an economic or technical background (e.g. business administration or engineering)
- Good IT and Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Excellent communication skills, with fluency in German and English
- Enthusiasm to learn and drive to succeed
- A proactive approach and self-reliant personality
