**Production Planning Manager (M/F/d)**
**Position purpose**:
The position exists to manage short-term cigarettes production planning and ensure the effective coordination inside the department for the planning priorities and updates.
This position represents the single point of contact for all customers and plays a central role in the communication inside the factory for cigarettes production scheduling.
Core areas:
1) Short-term capacity planning, Monthly Shift-Plan release
2) SAP F2S ePPDS (Production Planning & Detailed Scheduling) Power user, back-up for IBP FG RCCP (Integrated Business Planning Finished Goods Rough Cut Capacity Planning)
3) SPOC (Single Point of Contact) for Markets and GBS for orders / demand changes
4) FG PPDS in SAP: consistency of supply vs demand; backlog cleaning & follow-up, etc.
5) SPOC to internal and external stakeholders for daily FG scheduling, adjustment and tracking
6) Master Shipment Plan preparation and coordination of Logistics issues
7) FG (Finished Goods) Master data ownership (maintenance, cleaning, obsoletion)
8) Take active role regarding implementation of indidivual market's inititatves supporting JTI's growth ambition
9) Deliver Annual and Strategic plan volume commitments in collaboration with other functions
**Your responsibilities**:
- **FG planning**:
1) Short-term planning - daily plan updates or as needed on the basis of previous day production report and any other information that may influence the production plan.
2) Performs production optimization taking into account available data from Production Department (available productivity data, information about scheduled mainenance checks), customers' or GBS information on orders priorities, materials available for production based on the information from materials planning and supply specialists.
3) Ensure the efficient coordination inside the team and with other departments regarding FG plan updates.
4) Monitor the number of brand changes (planned vs target) and target production plan achievment, analyze the changes and provide explanation.
5) Monthly shift plan alignment and release.
- **PPDS and RCCP**
Perform RCCP and PPDS for FG according to global planning calendar for 18 months.
Ensure consistencies between supply and demand at all time in S4 / IBP; able to explain variations.
Monitor any changes of requirements in the system on a weekly basis and adjust the replenishment plan accordingly.
- **PLM tasks**
PLM planning tasks execution, coordination of priorities and the first production start-up with NPD specialist. Be aware of project timing implementation to minimize write-off risks. Effectively coordinate FG phase out and phase in.
- **Master data & KPIs**
Ensure masterdata are up to date, and follow masterdata KPIs.
Identify together with NPD all materials that can be set to obsolete. Keep an updated portfolio at all time in the systems.
Contribute to development of reports & KPIs that will provide meaninful overviews & enable focus on core areas in line with the business unit needs.
- **Master Shipment plan**
Perform FG shipments planning and master shipment plan preparation. Coordinate Logistics issues with Global Logistics for the solution. Monitor FG shipment plan and inform customers pro-actively about any delay.
- **Policies and procedures**
Support the improvement of the processes within the department, considering ISO, Safety, EHS Projects and Policies & Procedures, and Code of Conduct.
To perform any other tasks given by the Manager.
Be ready to support any member of the team depending on business needs.
Ensure compliance with the JTI Management Systems and respective duties in the department as well as cooperation on the continuous improvement process.
**Who are we looking for - requirements**:
- Bachelor's degree, and / or similar work experience in Supply Chain planning/manufacturing planning
- 1+ years of experience in the area of Supply Chain Planning in a multinational company.
- Fluent in English and German language (written and spoken).
- Utilization and analysis techniques for planning activities.
- Advanced SAP (ECC & APO) user, Business Warehouse experience required. Intermediate IBP (Integrated Business Planning) use.
