Soybean Meal Trader

Soybean Meal trader to complement our global trading operations based in Geneva and Singapore.

**Responsibilities**:
Maintain develop soybean meal business flow within group entities
Build/maintain relationships with respective brokers, clients and suppliers
**Pitch trade ideas**: cash, futures and options
Maintain /develop soybean meal third parties and in house trade flow
Support / pricing of in house trade flows
**Participate consumers CNF tenders**: opening of bid/performance bond, pricing and offer, hedging
SnD establishment/study with traders & research department
Drive desk efficiency to focus on commercial activity
CNF matrix / market coverage
Coordinate weekly product line call
Weekly USDA exports
Supervise tender results entry in database
Analyze open demand
Combine fundamental research with price analysis
Develop and extend our Soymeal origination network with focus on South America more specifically Brazil.
Ad hoc analysis
Trade desk management
PnL accountability for areas of responsibility
Inventory management, Daily futures statement reconciliation
Global position reconciliation
Month-end reconciliation with cross-functional teams
Supervise execution and interface with risk management team
FX hedging

**What do you need to be successful in this position**:
Master’s degree preferably in agricultural Economics, agricultural Business, or agriculture Sciences.
5-10 years of relevant experience in the soybean meal sector cash / flat track record.
experience of working in a global soft commodity organization.
industry knowledge and familiarity with the soybean meal market; solid understanding of Brazil based crush activities
strong business and commercial acumen.
excellent analytical and organisational skills.
excellent communication skills (verbal and written);
strong problem-solving skills with a proactive, innovating approach to work.
ability to manage competing interests and demands a heavy workload, demanding and pressurised work environment and be a good team player.
excellent command of both English and Portuguese (spoken and written) with additional language skills being a plus.
Knowledge of the requirements as set by the ISCC and/or GMP+FSA certification schemes.
willingness to travel
